Who Are We

Motivated by Baltimore City's pet overpopulation and countless cases of abuse, neglect, and abandonment, Sally Jennings single–handedly rescued many mixed dogs from death–row shelters, and placed them in loving homes. Her true passion has been and continues to be the rescue of the mutts that are too often overlooked and forgotten for the pedigree. Incorporated in 2004, a small core group of compassionate individuals joined Sally in her journey: to recycle the unconditional love that all animals possess and to transfer that love to a human companion who understands and appreciates this priceless gift.

Mission Statement

Recycled Love, a grassroots non–profit organization, is dedicated to finding the forever homes for Baltimore City's unwanted, abused, abandoned and death–row–shelter dogs, and to undertaking all necessary measures to work towards "No More Homeless Pets in Baltimore."

Why We Need Help

Because Recycled Love does not turn away from Baltimore City's canine underclass, we have been overwhelmed with massive medical bills. Many of the animals that were taken from the shelter required immediate medical care.

Our hearts will always be touched by the special animals who, in addition to the routine lab work, innoculations, and spaying/neutering, endured numerous visits to the vet for medical procedures with courage, knowing that they were going to be adopted into a loving home.

Please help us to continue to save lives. The money that folks donate upon adoption is never able to offset the veterinary costs that are spent making the animals well again. Please send all donations to Recycled Love at 215 Lanasa Lane, Baltimore, MD 21230. Thank you!

Donate Online!

Recycled Love is now able to accept online donations! Please consider donating a small amount, as it may save an animal's life, and it only takes one click. Recycled Love is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. Thank you for supporting Recycled Love!
