Chow Mix

Bear is a 6 or 7 year old male chow mix. My husband and I got Bear from the humane society about 3 months ago. Bear was found in a house where his elderly owner had passed away and was there with the owner for 3 days. He was very depressed when he came to the shelter and was barely eating. We fell in love with him after only two visits and knew he just needed some love. The love worked! He definitely has spunk and quite a personality. He is a real snuggler and can't get close enough to you, in fact he would sit on your lap (all 80 pounds of him) if you let him. He's super friendly and loving, likes to lick your face to show you he's happy. He likes to sleep on his dog bed and if you let him he would be more than happy to sleep on the bed with you. He has no problem sleeping in on a Saturday morning and LOVES to snuggle. Even though he is a bit older he has plenty of energy and loves his walks, we have a very tiny back yard and I'm sure he would love a yard to hang out in. He is house trained and doesn't have accidents in the house. He sits and gives paw on command and is eager to please.
